The first Cybersecurity Engineering department in Türkiye was established at Istanbul Technical University, within the Faculty of Computer and Informatics. Starting from the 2024–2025 academic year, new students have begun to be admitted to the program.

As the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering, our goal is to train individuals who can develop effective solutions against cyber threats, think analytically, adhere to ethical values, and compete on a global scale.
